Queenborough railway station opened on the London Chatham and Dover Railway’s Sittingbourne to Sheerness branch line, on 19 July 1860.

Queenbourough Railway Track

Trains pass through Queenborough railway station on the Sheerness Line between Sittingbourne, where the line links with the rest of the network, and Sheerness. Queenborough train station was opened on 19 July 1860 by the Sittingbourne and Sheerness Railway.

Queenborough Castle

A fortress, called Sheppey or Queenborough Castle, was built to guard the passage of ships along the Swale upon the command of King Edward III between 1361–1377, during the Hundred Years' War with France.

The Old House At Home

The pub originally started operating in the 19th century and was rebuilt as the Old House At Home in 1915 by Brewers Messrs Budden and Biggs to serve soldiers and retained workers.

The pub is located at the bottom of Queenborough town. It caters for all needs, live entertainment also takes place during weekends and is a very fun place to visit.
